Different from the rest of the year, autumn is unique. It begins in end September and lasts until December. The leaves fall off the trees during the fall season, which is also known as the "falling season." There are piles of leaves on the ground, covering the whole surface. A blanket of crimson leaves and flowers covers every roadway and every patch of land. It's like the beginning of a new day when the trees shed their old leaves and sprout new ones. Autumn's cold air carried leaves and flowers wherever it went.
Autumn is one of my favorite seasons because of the rich, warm hues that beckon us to reflect on our relationship with the Earth and the bounty she bestows throughout the harvest season. I might lose myself in the splendor of the red maple leaves and gold aspen limbs that surround me. Inner peace and gentle passivity are features of this time of year.
Autumn has put on her brightest colors to get ready for the upcoming season. The simple boldness with which she has swept into our streets and woods allows the eye to notice more than it otherwise would. All around us, the fall does a graceful pirouette, and we are grateful to be treated to such a sight. This time of year feels like nature's editor has gone on vacation and the earthen-hued lover is now in charge of the season.
Toward the end of fall, my spirit hoped to see a blue sun, as if it were somehow colder on those frosty days. The carpet of leaves became a sort of natural bling, as if the Earth had crowned herself queen and had the courage to wear such God-given jewels in that light.
Be mindful of your ideas today...you have a choice...which ones will you choose?
Now is the time for new starts, new choices, and new enthusiasm.
It's a journey, not a destination.
Unexpected curves and turning points, mountaintops and
valleys are all part of life.
Everything that occurs in our lives molds us into the people we
become.
We discover the best in ourselves during the adventure of each day. There is no room
for weeds in a
well-kept
garden full of flowers. The mind keep unworthy thoughts out when beauty is present.
